What We Do
Routine lab testing is a great way to monitor your health. It is also a good way to establish a baseline; by knowing your baseline levels, you can begin to monitor these values to see how they change over time. This panel consist of blood counts, kidney function, liver function, electrolytes, cholesterol, triglycerides, hemoglobin, A1C, and thyroid function.
Diabetes is a chronic condition that affects your blood sugar levels. With diabetes, your body does not use insulin properly, or it does not make enough insulin. Insulin is made in the pancreas. It helps the sugar (glucose) from food enter your cells, so it can be used for energy. If your body does not make enough insulin-or if it des not use insulin properly- the sugar (glucose) stays in your body and does not reach your cells. There are 2 types of diabetes-type 1 and type 2. Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes. In type 2 diabetes, the body does not use insulin as well as it should. In type 1 diabetes, the body does not produce enough insulin. The Diabetes Maintenance Panel consist of 4 tests that provide valuable information to help you and your healthcare provider monitor your diabetes treatment.

will identify the presence or absence of five (5) different classes of commonly abused or misused drugs or their metabolites. As a laboratory-based test, this panel includes a routine screen for each drug class, as well as any necessary confirmation testing. On average, most drugs are detectable in urine for approximately three days after the most recent use or exposure. A confirmed positive result for a drug or drug metabolite is considered evidence of use or exposure in that time period. This test requires a standard urine sample that can be collected at our lab.10 Panel Drug Test Including Expanded Opiates (Urine)-
will identify the presence or absence of ten (10) different classes of commonly abused or misused drugs or their metabolites. This test requires a standard urine sample that can be collected at our lab.
DNA testing, that can be used to determine if there is a biological relationship between two individuals. This is typically done by obtaining genetic material (DNA samples) from the two individuals via cheek swabs, then comparing these samples.
A paternity test is used to determine if someone is the biological father of a child. It works by comparing the DNA of the alleged father to the DNA of the child. If possible, it is preferred to have the child’s mother participate in the Paternity Test as well, since she contributed 50% of her DNA to the child. Informational Paternity Test results cannot be used for ANY type of legal purpose, such as adding or removing a father’s name from the child’s birth certificate, child support, visitation, or other types of legal/verified situations.
